Managing Main Campus UCInetID and HS Passwords

Last month, the UC Irvine Health Information Services updated the Password Reset Manager to improve the management of your passwords. The Password Reset Manager can be accessed at: https://MyAccount.hs.uci.edu

Some of the improvements listed in a recent UC Irvine Health Information Services Update include:

• Requiring only two instead of five security-reminder questions
• The ability to reset and unlock your own account (accounts are locked after five failed attempts)
• Password resets at 435 days with password expiration reminder notifications

For faculty and staff who teach and/or use the different iMedEd systems, be aware that using the Password Reset Manager will synchronize the passwords for your UCInetID (used to log into systems supported by the main campus, e.g., Zot!Portal, EEE) and your HS account (used to login to systems including Canvas, our Evaluations system and the Intranet) so you will only have to keep track of a single password.
